Pros & cons

From expert reviews

What's good
  • It scored five stars in BNCAP crash safety tests and gets six airbags and ISOFIX anchors as standard.
  • It gets modern features such as a panoramic sunroof, JBL sound system, and wireless charger.
  • The CNG is offered across all trims without compromising on the 321-litre boot.
  • The new touch-based AC controls look great, respond well, and include handy toggle switches.
  • Thanks to its 209mm ground clearance and balanced suspension, it handles potholes confidently.
What could be better
  • The diesel engine can do with more refinement, and the throttle response feels delayed up to 2,000 rpm.
  • The CNG is limited to a manual transmission, which may deter city drivers seeking easy shifting.
  • Fit and finish feels subpar in places, and design oddities, such as the bottle holder and cubby placement.
  • The touchscreen infotainment display seems to lag or freeze at times.

The Tata Nexon portfolio is complete with the CNG version. But does it strike the balance between performance and efficiency that buyers always wanted?

Futuristic Car

This is a great car. Though i own Punch Pure Plus ANG AMT, Nexon is bigger and bolder with strong performance with Turbo engine and more features. My 3 friends recently purchased Nexon and they are very much satisfied.

High service cost

Buying expensive is good. I am using 2020 Nexon ZX + petrol manual. Till now I have driven 57k on it. After 53000 kilometers, engine oil and coolant is mixed, and it cost me high service. Even before that the service cost is too much. They charge a minimum of 13K - 14K oil change service. Tata service cost is high. ( till now I didi it see it in any reviews.) Tata service cost is high, according to me. Once they 14K for spare parts and 14K for labour cost. Once central locking system not working. They replaced just a part which is on the driver's side and it cost me 3.5K. After 40K kilometres,

Favorite car!!!

Tata Nexon offers strong safety, solid build quality, spacious interiors, comfortable ride, and multiple powertrain choices. However, cabin quality, rear-seat comfort, and gearbox refinement could be better. It was a great experience
