The car is well equipped with essential features, ride quality and comfort is where it shines but the engine lacks punch. The Punch needs to be upgraded with a turbocharged engine with automatic transmission for a better portfolio.
Overall, my ownership experience with the Tata Punch has been quite good. The ride quality and suspension are the highlights, especially on bad roads and potholes. The seats are reasonably comfortable for long drives, although they could have better thigh support. The car has a good set of features for its segment, and the high seating position gives a good view of the road. The suspension feels well suited for Indian road conditions and absorbs most bumps nicely. Pros: 1. 360 degree camera is like a magic and makes your life easier in congested areas. 2. NVH levels are surprisingly very low for a 3 Cyl engine, even sometimes I forgot the engine is running and tried to lock the car, noise is that low. 3.Gives a confidence to drive especially in highways and sharp turns.. handling is top notch. 4.
