Pros & cons

From expert reviews

What's good
  • The 158bhp turbo petrol is responsive and gets manual/automatic gearboxes.
  • It has sporty N Line detailing, making it distinctive.
  • It provides more value over a comparable Creta version.
What could be better
  • There is no power upgrade compared to the regular Creta.
  • Occupants will find the ride quality to be slightly hard.
  • The matte paint needs more maintenance.

The Hyundai Creta N Line is the third model in the new sub-brand and is positioned as the sportier version of the standard Creta. We take a quick run to tell if its worth the hype.

Sporty look and performance

You get ~10 - 11 kmpl in city driving with AC. On highways, you can extract up to 15 kmpl. The engine is very well tuned. Cabin noise insulation great. The car comes with Bose speakers, which make the audio great. ADAS can be a bit irritating if you’re driving in cities like Bengaluru. I have disabled active assistance.

Power meets your needs

I recently drove my Hyundai Creta N Line for about 400 km in one stretch with a family of five. The car delivered an impressive driving comfort, with well-cushioned seats and good cabin space that kept everyone comfortable throughout the journey. The suspension setup handled long drives smoothly, even on mixed road conditions. In terms of performance, the N Line’s engine felt responsive with enough power for effortless highway cruising and overtaking. The steering was precise, giving a confident feel behind the wheel. The mileage was also quite satisfactory, considering it was a fully loaded f
