Pros & cons

From expert reviews

What's good
  • Large comfortable seats offer excellent outward visibility.
  • The big size translates into ample space; very practical.
  • Power delivery is sufficient for most driving conditions.
  • The ride quality is flat and absorbent over bad roads.
  • It's claimed hybrid efficiency is about 23kmpl.
What could be better
  • The smaller wheels give it an unappealing side profile.
  • Has fewer features than Toyota's Hycross (hence cheaper).
  • There are no powertrain options on the Invicto.

The Invicto is the biggest, the highest-end, the most advanced, and naturally, the most expensive vehicle Maruti Suzuki has ever sold. What it’s essentially not is a Maruti product. Here's why.

Exceptional Comfort and Value for Money

I love this car, which is a twin of Toyota Hycross, it is a luxury with comfort and safety. Fuel efficiency is good compared to MPVs. They can add features like ADAS and ottoman seats to make it better than Hycross. Overall, Maruti Suzuki is known for giving good value for money, and Invicto follows that DNA.

Think before buying

The car's engine makes to much noise. Negative reviews of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto primarily focus on its lack of premium interior quality for its high price point, the absence of key features found in the Toyota Innova Hycross (like Ottoman seats and ADAS), high cabin noise at highway speeds, and a less responsive infotainment system. It is widely considered an expensive option at 29 Lakhs+.

Best car

Awesome car. I really loved it. Totally value for money. And Suzuki is always the best in service at all times. Mileage and comfort are very, very good. Totally worth the price.

Good as Toyota not acceptable as Maruti

Brand like Maruti should not try in this price range. There is no fun to drive with a tractor-like noise. The engine is useless without a turbo. I defeated the vehicle in a drag race with the Renault Kiger turbo. No doubt, as Toyota originally, it is comfortable. But the engine is terrible. The resale value will be terribly low. Maruti has no brand value to sell such a premium vehicle. I have driven this vehicle as it is owned by a friend. Now he is regretting.
